I am aware that I will be participating in a potentially dangerous activity and I am aware that I should not enter unless I am medically able to undertake this event and also properly trained and equipped. I agree to abide by any decisions of any race official and understand that any decisions made by the race organisers are final. I assume all risks associated with participation in this event, including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, light levels, traffic, condition of the trail or road, rocks and currents. All such risks being known and appreciated by me.

I am over 16 years of age or I have the permission of an adult who will be present at all times during the event.

Having read this disclaimer and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting entry, I, for myself and for anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Mad Hatter Sports Events, all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

I have read, understand and agree that my entry into this event is also subject to Mad Hatters Refund / Cancellation Policy.

I also confirm that if I enter a person other than myself, which I have made them fully aware of these terms and conditions and cancellation policy and that they too agree to them and have given their approval for me to confirm their understanding and acceptance of them and to sign to this effect on their behalf.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Mad Hatter Sports. Will offer or transfers of entries and deferral of entry to the following year on occasions such as the event being cancelled due to poor conditions for the following year only. If you wish to defer or transfer please contact John Yelland (johnyelland@madhattersportsevents.co.uk) upto 1 week prior to the race.
