Sea Swimming Safaris

In 2024 Mad Hatter Sports will be running a number of Sea Swimming Safaris along the Cornish coastline.
You pick a date and sign up for the safari and one week before the date we will let you know where the safari will take place. This is because we cannot guarantee the conditions so far in advance.

The safari will include 90 minutes to 2 hours of swimming and we will pick the best location based on the conditions, you could be swimming through caves and gullies, there may be some clambering over rocks and we may even find some rocks to jump off. We will also explore any sealife we see.

The group will be limited to 10 people per safari and it will be your responsibility to travel to the location we provide (We will provide all the details you'll ever need) and you must be able to swim a minimum of 1km. This is not a race but you must be reasonably confident in the water.

Mad Hatter Sports will have two guides in the water with you and the group must stay together.

We will also bring coffee and some cakes to the safari so we can have a picnic after the swim.

There maybe a walk to get to the entry/exit point but we will let you know this when we confirm the location.
